United Airlines plans to buy 200 electric flying taxis in the next 5 years. United Airlines will transport passengers to the airports with these flying taxis.
United Airlines invested $ 1.1 billion in the flying taxi manufacturer Archer, as part of its collaboration with airline company Mesa. The project aims to develop the electric flying taxis. In order for the purchase of flying taxis to continue, flying taxis must be inspected and approved.
The Archer company announced that flying taxis can speed up to 250 km per hour and they can go 95 kilometers far in one go. The company also stated that passengers going to the airport by electric flying taxis, can cut carbon emissions which damage the planet in half.
